An excellent generation, balanced with worldly progress and safety in the hereafter, is produced from the planning and implementation of a strong religious education. Hence, the Ministry of Religious Affairs will strive to make the implementation, planning and education policies in the country a success so that the practice of religious life remains inline with the Malay Islamic Monarch philosophy. The Minister of Religious Affairs stated the matter during a working visit by the Ministry of Religious Affairs delegation to religious schools in conjunction with the first school term session of 2026. Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman also highlighted that the importance of the ministry's role in fulfilling the hopes of parents, and ensuring the success of their children especially in formal religious education are implemented in a quality and effective manner.

 

The delegation made a visit to the Royal Brunei Navy Religious School, and the Pengiran Muda Abdul Azim Religious Schoo. The visit aimed to monitor the implementation of the 'Sekolahku, Ilmuku, Ugamaku, Keberkatanku' or SIUK Programme. Aside from that, the visit also ensured the religious subject integration in the General Education system are implemented properly, and effectively.
